LUCKY OLD SUN ALREADY DOWN THE ROAD AS "DOWN THE ROAD" BOWS

Kenny Chesney's album Lucky Old Sun is already down the road to super success with a debut #1 single, "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven," and a monster #1 debut slot on the overall Top 200 Albums chart with over 176,000 in first week sales..so, a tune called "Down the Road," becomes the next vehicle to keep Lucky Old Sun keep going down that money road.

Written by Mac McAnally, who also lends vocals to the tune, Chesney says, "This is one of those songs... it's not on the water, it's everything that pace of life, those values are about. I think everyone wants to find that one person that can be their whole life, be able to be fulfilled and happy wherever they are. It’s about the real nature of being settled, which is what I see among my friends in the islands...and it’s what this record is really all about: finding peace and piece of mind.”

Kenny adds, "To have Mac sing it was awesome. I'm such a fan of what he does, his songs and his records. It was just one of those things that was really a thrill and kinda hard to believe I was getting to do."
